Throughout this Wimbledon fortnight, Andy Murray has been dropping sets like the members of the All England Club have been dropping their aitches. .
Of the men’s quarter-finalists, Murray is alone in being the only one who is yet to concede a set at these Championships, the only one to have won 12 from 12, after he dealt with the power of Sam Querrey, a dangerous American who was trying so hard to cuff the ball through the Centre Court grass.

For all the chaos and five-setters for the other seeded players this summer, Murray just keeps on winning his matches in straight sets.
