A Chinese gadget online retailer is already selling an iPad clone.
Chinese gadget website Shop Kami is now selling an iPad clone that’s running Windows 7. Called the Ezy Tablet, the device features a larger 10.4-inch screen, a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 250GB HDD. The device also has three USB ports, an integrated 5-in-1 card reader, and a built-in 1.3-megapixel webcam.
But unlike Apple’s iPad, the device isn’t exactly slim in appearance, and the display has a native resolution of 1024 x 600. Consumers wanting to throw it on a wired network can hook up through the unit’s RJ45 network port. There’s also an optional external CD drive for $50– surprisingly a DVD drive is not available.
