Butler Bulldogs stuns No. 1 seed Syracuse in Salt Lake City – NCAA Basketball

The Butler Bulldogs said they weren’t in awe of the top-seeded Syracuse Orange, and then they went out and played like it.
Butler upset the Orange 63-59 Thursday night at EnergySolutions Arena in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 game.
Butler blew a 10-point halftime lead, but made all the big plays in the final three minutes to oust one of the pretournament favorites in Salt Lake City.
The Bulldogs (31-4) will play the winner of the late Xavier-Kansas State game in the West Region finals on Saturday.
