Census Required Answers – 10 Questions, 10 Minutes for 2010 Census

The Census, which will be mailed this month, asks just 10 simple questions and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Answers are confidential, protected by law and cannot be shared with anyone for any reason, including police or other federal agencies.
The Town of Cicero has spent considerable time and effort preparing for the 2010 Census. Afterall, Cicero, like other communities across the nation, has just one chance every decade to have its census done correctly. “That means ensuring every resident is counted,” said Karen Blake, Administrator for the Town of Cicero. “It is extremely important for all residents to be counted because of the distribution of federal and state funding depends on population – this includes infants and box holders – the two groups most often missed during a census count.”
