Chevy Chase land dispute

A potential solution to a Chevy Chase Village land dispute has been shelved after protests from village residents, The Gazette reports.

Chevy Chase Village officials were prepared to consider an application from resident Cary Euwer to build on land the two parties are disputing in court, but Euwer’s application was withdrawn last week after several residents said the board should not consider the application because it is legally faulty and would set a bad precedent.
