City continues 225th with classic car show

BRISTOL — American muscle cars that start with a roar and take off with a high-powered jolt ruled the day at Bristol Plaza in the 1960s.
The tri-powered Corvettes, Mustangs, Novas and GTOs from the era came back to Bristol Saturday for a 225th city anniversary car show designed to draw visitors to celebrate Bristol and the American muscle cars still popular in the area.
