Italian authorities have seized the black box of the commuter train that derailed Friday morning on the outskirts of Naples, causing one death and wounding about 60 travelers, local media reported.
The disaster, according to the city’s mayor Rosa Russo Iervolino, was probably caused by high-speed.
Instead of going at 20 kilometer per hour, the vehicle was running at 40, well above the limit. The injured have been all transported to nearby hospitals, two of whom are in serious conditions.
