The new Android 2.1-running smartphone features 4.3-inch screen with a 854×480 resolution, an 8 megapixel camera that’s also capable of 720p video recording, a TI OMAP processor that runs at 1GHz, 8GB internal storage, a microSD slot for additional storage, HDMI output, and a “true” multitouch keyboard with the fancy Swype technology pre-loaded.The device is also capable of serving as a Wi-Fi hotspot powers for up to 5 devices. Plus, the phone features a “high performance diversity antennas” for call quality, which is paired with three mics for video and noise suppression. Meanwhile, the Droid successor apparently has battery life comparable to the original Droid.
