Holy Day Marred: Church blast kills one amid Orthodox celebrations

Russia’s Patriarch Kiril has led a special service in the Ukrainian capital Kiev marking the anniversary of the baptism of old Russia. The city saw the beginning of the Christianization of the Russian lands more than a thousand years ago. Meanwhile, celebrations were marred in the Ukrainian city of Zaporozhye, when a bomb blast in a local church killed an elderly woman.
