Joan Rivers returns to Comedy Works South for a pair of shows on Feb. 12 — a testament to the club’s national esteem. Of course, the 76-year- old Rivers doesn’t need to be touring clubs, but her still-sharp wit (and vastly underappreciated role in modern stand-up) make her a must-see. Also announced: “Saturday Night Live” veteran Rob Schneider (Jan. 22-23, Comedy Works South), Ralph Harris (Dec. 16-20, Comedy Works South), Reno Collier (Dec. 16-20, Comedy Works) and Denver’s own Josh Blue (Dec. 26, Comedy Works). U2’s “360 Tour,” which hits Invesco Field at Mile High on June 12, looks to be another ante-upping spectacle from the veteran mega- rockers. Bon Jovi’s massive 2010-2011 world tour, “The Circle,” received its on-sale dates this week. The band will play the Pepsi Center on March 8 as part of its 30-country, 135-city jaunt to promote new album (titled, shockingly) “The Circle”), which drops on Tuesday.
