HOUSTON — DEVELOPING: A Houston high school was on lockdown Friday after reports of assault rifle shootings in the neighborhood, according to local media.
There were unconfirmed reports that witnesses saw three or four males get into a white truck and drive to North Forest High School in the northeast section of the city.
One or two of the men reportedly walked onto the school’s campus, and police took one of the males into custody. FOX News has not confirmed those reports.
MyFOXHouston has learned that North Forest Independent School District cops and the Houston Police Department are at the school and may be searching for a suspect in the shootings.
Police believe that at least one suspect fired an AK-47 at a number of different locations, MyFOXHouston said.
