HTC EVO 4G
On Monday, HTC and Sprint began offering a firmware update for the HTC EVO 4G. The update offered several improvements, notably better Wi-Fi performance, better Exchange performance, better Facebook performance, and better battery life. Unfortunately, the update also included some problems.
Reports of bricked phones poured in rather quickly, as users attempted to update their devices. Users said that their phones were offered a second update in the middle of the updating process. The second update led to completely dead phones. In response to the bricked EVO 4Gs, Sprint and HTC have halted the update for the time being.
