A growing list of processed foods are being recalled — all made with an ingredient linked to salmonella.
So far, almost 30 food products made by 50 Canadian food companies may have used the flavour enhancer HVP — or hydrolyzed vegetable protein.
The recalled foods include President’s Choice pretzels, Family’s Best potato chips, Quaker rice cakes and No Name and Compliments soup mixes. Several Sabatini’s dips have also been recalled.
