Magic Power Coffee May Cause Blood Pressure To Drop, FDA

Magic Power Coffee, a dietary supplement that claims to enhance sexual performance, contains a chemical that may trigger a dangerous drop in blood pressure, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Tuesday.

The FDA determined that the chemical in Magic Power Coffee can interact with prescription drugs, such as nitroglycerin, and cause dangerously low blood pressure. The dietary supplement, which is being sold online, contains a chemical that is similar to the active ingredient in Viagra, a prescription drug used to treat erectile dysfunction.
