Operation Endgame : DVD Review
Category Movie | Saturday, July 24th, 2010Operation: Endgame is packed with recognizable names and faces, from Zach Galifianakis to Rob Corddry to Ving Rhames, but still rides the straight-to-DVD express. That has a lot to do with names lower in the credits, including director Fouad Mikati and writer Sam Levinson. This film marks the first credit for both, and it shows.
Operation: Endgame chronicles the final day of a secret cell of assassins headquartered under Los Angeles. It’s Jan. 20, 2009, the Bush era is over, and the agency’s life span has expired. Operation: Endgame is initiated, meaning the facility is locked down, and the assassins — divided into an Alpha team and an Omega team — are ordered to kill each other on sight.
