PS3 Update 3.40 : Sony PlayStation

One of the interesting new features unveiled at this year’s E3 was the new PlayStation Plus membership. The membership promises gamers access to exclusive download content and free games among other things. The PlayStation Plus subscription service is now available via a software update which became official today. The update brings the PS3 firmware to version 3.40.
