Venezuela Plane Crashes on takeoff, 47 Aboard

A plane with 47 people aboard crashed Monday in Venezuela but there are at least 23 “badly injured” survivors, officials said. The state-run Conviasa airliner went down several minutes after takeoff from Ciudad Guayana in eastern Venezuela, said Transportation Minister Francisco Garces.
