Tropical storm could hit Texas-Mexico border Thursday afternoon, US National Hurricane

A tropical storm might hit the Texas-Mexico border Thursday afternoon, the U.S. National Hurricane Center forecast.

Currently, the storm system is a tropical depression. With winds of 35 miles per hour, the depression was located about 160 miles east-southeast of Brownsville, Texas, according to the NHC.
