WINK 104 personality John Beaston Dies at Age 35
Category Entertainment | Tuesday, July 13th, 2010Radio listeners will no longer hear John Beaston’s voice while they sip their morning coffee or commute to work.
The WNNK-FM (WINK 104) personality died sometime during the weekend, said station general manager Ron Giovanniello. He said police were not yet able to determine a cause of death. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
Beaston, 32, was a “WINK Wake Up Show” staple since November 2006. He was on air weekdays from 5:30 to 10 a.m. and again from 10 a.m. to noon. Prior to joining the morning team, he worked at the station part-time for more than a decade.
